The SuperFooty Podcast - Round 18 week 1

After an amazing first weekend of Round 18, the boys - host Anthony Hudson and Herald Sun journalists Sam Edmund and Mick Warner - are up and about.

Sammy Edmund was quick to jump on Fremantle's shock loss to St Kilda, saying his long-held belief the Dockers can't win this year's premiership was vindicated by the thumping they received at the hands of the Saints.

The boys agree the Bulldogs let one slip against Essendon, and while their list is exciting do they have to offer one of their young guns up to land that elusive key forward? And how about Jake Carlisle's performance? Is he the hottest player in the game?

The boys discuss the round and say upsets and close shaves for heavy favourites might mean tanking is officially dead.

Geelong and Port Adelaide's top four hopes are well truly alive after thrilling wins over cellar-dwellars GWS and Melbourne, while Sammy tells us why North Melbourne is losing the games it shouldn't.

As for Carlton, Mick has some exciting news on the recruiting front.
