The SuperFooty Podcast - Round 6

“IT’S hard to drive past a car accident and not look at it, isn’t it?”

And with that, the Round 6 SuperFooty podcast had to start with Carlton.

Yes, the Blues and Tigers were predictable topics on this week’s podcast agenda as both struggle to make an impact in season 2015.

But while the traditional “powers” of the VFL/AFL competition struggle, others are making their move up ladder.

“I love a list build, I reckon list builds are the sexiest thing in football,” one podcast member says.

The Saints’ memorable comeback win is discussed as they clawed their way back over the Western Bulldogs, while interstate sides are beginning to make their move, occupying five of the top six positions on the table.

But one stands out above the rest.

“It’s their year,” the boys say of Fremantle. Hear how Ross Lyon’s men are controlling games like no other teams, and what Cameron Ling told Mick about the Purple Haze.

The Bombers, on the other hand, aren’t moving the ball with any fluidity, prompting our panel to suggest one big name will be traded at the end of the season. But which one?

And Huddo tells us how ‘Bomber’ Thompson handles sitting in the commentary box watching his former side.

Plus the resurgent Cats, two young Giants on the verge of re-signing and a heap more from Round 6.
